J. Weeks Company of Marlborough in the French and Indian wars in 1757. I could find nothing regarding Robert's parents or siblings. The only other Sprouls found in this time frame and general local are Ann, John, and Robert (of) Mannor living in nearby Stow, Massachusetts.
Robert and his family moved from Marlborough to Granville, possibly in a group led by Henry Evans of Sudbury, Massachusetts, in 1760. The New England Planters, as they were known, traveled in 22 ships to take over the lands the Acadians had vacated in the Annapolis Valley and around Minas Basin. One of the ships was named the Charming Molly and sailed from Boston on May 17, 1760 with 25 heads of families and a total of 45 passengers. On June 19, 1760 it brought 25 more families from Boston to Annapolis.8
